As some of you may have noticed, I have once again reduced the number of moderators here. Please don't think anyone has done anything wrong; it's just that I am further streamlining the way Void runs, and in this case, it means less cooks in the kitchen.
Another reason for the reduction in moderators... I have had a couple of people lately act as though they feel slighted because they do not have mod status. There are only two ways for me to handle that. The first would have been to globally give everyone at least Demiurge status. This is a bad idea for many reasons. The second is to really be selective regarding who has mod, and base it on overall contribution and other factors. This second option is what I have chosen to do.
A final gentle reminder... it is never good form to push for or complain about having moderator status in any forum or channel. I am not alone in being a little annoyed at having that done.
