We flashpost!
This next little while, I am going to have some stuff going on that will keep me offline until like nine-ish in the evening, PST. Obviously, this is going to make chatting a little difficult, especially for the East Coast types. I am sorry about this, but this is a case of 'RL comes first', so I have to take care of that.
But all is not lost!
Flashposting is when players get together in one of the boards and post short little posts, sometimes as few as one or two lines, to quickly move a roleplaying situation along. Obviously, it's not as immediately-interactive as a chat, but it can be a good stopgap in certain situatons, and also has the advantage of having the previous 'actions' be up and ready for people who come into the scene later. I intend to start flashposting in all of my games, and shift chat to being kind of a 'special event' for the time being, until my RL is slightly less busy.
I encourage other game owners and players to please feel free to do the same!
