I am not going to be at my best for a little while. I have just learned that my mom has breast cancer and is electing to have a full mastectomy, rather than a lumpectomy and chemo/radiation. They did catch it early, but she is still seventy years old and this is a very major surgery. She is the third direct relative of mine to have it and now I am scared on my own behalf.

If I am snappish, vile, easily upset or just unobtainium... this will be why.
